Old Oakland Golf Club
Old Oakland Golf Club is made up of three (3) outstanding nine-hole courses. The East Nine, West Nine and the South Nine. Each is uniquely different, yet, a compliment to a consistent flow of classic, traditional golf. The courses are impeccably maintained by Superintendent, Chase Walden and his team.
In the Fall of 2016, owner Steve Sterrett will embark on an enhancement program which will start with the East Nine. New “billy bunkers”, cart paths and a new irrigation system will be installed throughout the Fall season. It is anticipated that in the Fall of 2017 and the Fall of 2018 that additional work will be completed on the West and South nines.
Old Oakland Golf Club is at an exciting time in it’s history. Great plans are on the horizon for all Members, families and their guests. We are all anxious to see the many improvements over the next three Fall seasons.
Chatham Hills Golf Club
Nestled among tree-adorned rolling hills and meandering creeks, The Club at Chatham Hills emerges—unlike any terrain familiar to Central Indiana. This is a special place, carved out by Mother Nature herself. Filled with history and preserved land, Chatham Hills has a story, many stories in fact.
Located in Westfield, Indiana, this land has been passed down for eight generations, originally purchased as a part of the Northwest Territory. Indiana’s beloved poet James Whitcomb Riley recited stories in fireside readings, children explored the creeks and hills, families farmed the fields, and memories have been made around fire pits tucked beneath the tree canopies. With its rolling hills, lush forests, trickling creeks and steep ravines and historic farmstead, it seems like a world away. But it’s been here all along. With quick access to Indianapolis’ main artery, US 31, just off the 191st street interchange, you can get here and there and go to and fro within minutes.
